GFA World (Formerly: Gospel for Asia) equips and trains national missionaries to share Christ among the unreached. You can join our team and support missions while getting academic credit and valuable work experience by interning with us. You will grow spiritually, too, as you join GFA prayer meetings and other community events.
Why intern at GFA?
An internship at GFA World goes far beyond the typical office-work experience. GFA's focus is missions, and that includes sharing the vision of reaching the lost with young people right here in Canada. You'll gain real-life, hands-on experience as you work directly in support of missions.

The internship is full-time, approximately 40 hours per week. You will be assigned to a department within GFA and will serve under the supervision of the department leader. You may also receive practical training as needed on office systems/software. Specific activities and work assignments will vary depending on the department, your skills and current ministry needs.
As an intern, you will participate in prayer times and other meetings that are required of GFA staff. You will also attend foundational classes on such topics as the history of GFA World, GFA Core Values and the spiritual needs of the world. In addition, there will be optional social and outreach events with other staff and interns.
**GFA will consider the application of students from other programs but cannot guarantee a fit for every type of major.
Where are you located?
GFA World is located in Stoney Creek, Ontario, which is about an hour away from Toronto. If it's possible for you to come, you're welcome to arrange a visit with us to see the office and meet the staff before your internship.
When can I come?
Internships are available all year around. The length of the internship is flexible as needed for your academic requirements. GFA does not have a minimum required length of time for your internship.
What about living expenses?
You may be provided with room, board, and meals. There is no direct compensation for internships. Your needs will be discussed on an individual basis.
